MultiMouseMonitor
Activity and movement are fundamental diagnostic parameters of animal behavior. However, measuring long-term individual movement within groups was not possible until recently. The MultiMouseMonitor provides accurate individual movement data in a fully automated way. This is a unique solution for the 24/7 long-term tracking and surveillance of individual animals living in groups which requires no operator attention. This MultiMouseMonitor is equipped with 8 reader grid for Type III cages.

This MultiMouseMonitor is equipped with 20 reader grid for Type IV cages.
ColonyRack
The ColonyRack is an innovative system for the automated tracking of a large number of mice. A standard cage rack is equipped with interconnecting tubes that allow the passage of animals through all cages in the rack. All tubes have RFID transponder readers that will record each passage of a tagged animal with time and position. The system operates 24/7 for extended periods of time producing accurate data about the movement of all animals contained in the system. Detailed maps and patterns of movement are derived from these data sets. Long term studies about the change in general activity, social interaction, and movement patterns become possible.
IDspyder
RFID technology is ideally suited to build or upgrade custom test arenas with animal identification or localization functions. IDspyder is a ready to use package which allows adding position or individual tracking to an existing arena. RFID tagged animals are reliably detected and tracked through time and space by the provided IDsensors. The PhenoSoft Control software logs all detections events for later analysis into an accessible data file.
CaloBox - Indirect Calorimeter
A novel system for the indirect calorimetry of mice, rats, birds, and other small animals. Simply connect the CaloBox with an animal cuvette, turn on air flow, and press >Start< for a measurement. Common applications are: Animal metabolism, nutrition, heat regulation, thermoregulation, bioenergetics, activity, animal behavior, energy balance, resting metabolic rate, energetics of locomotion, and many more. The Calobox automatically measures and calculates typical indirect calorimetry parameters such as metabolic rate, energy expenditure (EE), and respiratory exchange ratio (RER).
IDsorter for Mouse
It is beneficial for animals to live in groups rather than in single housing. Many behavioural diagnostic tests, however, require an individual animal to be alone while tested. Traditionally, this requires manually placing an animal from a home cage to the test arena and back. With the IDsorter connecting the home cage with a test arena, this process is fully automated. This system can be interfaced to operant systems from other vendors or to video observation systems.

IDrevolyzer
Voluntary running activity is a most useful parameter for the assessment of the individual conditions of mice. Running wheel assays are commonly applied but suffer from the lack of group interaction. The IDrevolyzer combines multiple running wheels with animal friendly group housing. RFID technology allows to identify the particular animal that is using a wheel at any given time. Parameters like total activity and maximum speed are therefore automatically assigned to individuals.
