| Many of our probes offer the combination of both neural recording and stimulation. Flexibility in the manufacturing process allows for different electrode site arrangements and spacing, as well as optional fluid delivery channels for precise drug delivery or fiber optic lines for optogenetic stimulation intermixed within the recording sites. The precise linear arrangement of the electrode sites enables current source density analysis of the field potential signals as recorded from laminar neural structures. We are continuously improving the electrode technology and broadening the product line. Over 3500 electrodes have been sold around the world to the labs of neuroscience community. | Mr. László Papp, the managing director and Founder of Neuronelektród Kft is the lead design engineer of the company and well known in the world of brain researchers utilizing neural electrodes. Mr. Papp continues to lead Neuronelektród Kft with the same energy and vision that fueled his whole career. He earned his Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1971. During his career he designed among others fetal ECG, newborn respirator to be used in incubator, etc. He has over 30 years' experience with designing neural electrodes for basic neuroscience research mainly for use in animal science. He maintains memberships for over 25 years in such organizations as the Hungarian Neuroscience Society and the Neumann János Computer-science Society. |
