Mechanical camera support is designed for cameras using fan for cooling. Fans tend to induce minor vibrations on camera, which decreases the image quality. This can be prevented by firm mechanical support providing second contact point to microscope frame. Designed for Hamamatsu cameras, but for other brands and models custom products may be available.
