Optimized for seriously shielded environments in microelectrode laboratories. The output current is as smooth as the current of a lead battery. This design fulfils all the special requirements of any sophisticated electrophysiology applications, even in close position to high impedance recording electrodes. These LED drivers are optimized for optogenetic stimulation, but they also can be used for other light stimulating applications (for instance retinography). They can drive any kind of LED directly, with calibrated current, independently of the LED model. They can even drive the extremely high power and/or huge forward voltage LED types. The internal construction of our LED drivers is based on high precision constant current generators and high speed gating circuits for extremely fast switching of the LED's current.
