STable Basics II: Workstation with Embedded Damping Plate Large
This product is a strong and rigid steel table with an Elastomer-based Damping Plate in its middle. There are two shelves on the left and the right side of the Damping Plate. The shelves are made of special magnetic stainless steel. The joystick units of the manipulators can be fixed on the shelves with magnetic or gravitational (big mass) stands. The front side of the shelves are covered with white plexiglas to provide a comfortably warm feeling for the hands of the user.
